About the role:
This position has full responsibility for planning and scheduling activities required to meet customer needs, marketing requirements, and meet service level objectives for installing and supporting all BSC AF Solutions capital equipment and service. Responsible for execution of all capital equipment field installations, from planning, to install, through transition to field sales teams.
This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within the United States to support customers, sales teams, and national accounts. The position requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time.
Your responsibilities will Include:
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
- Collaborates with AF Solutions AVP'S, Managers, and Reps to assist in the sale of capital and service, ensure clarity of installation requirements and managing support to align with the regional field-sales strategy.
- For all capital product installations, build on-going communication and collaboration on customer facing elements with local field sales teams. For each installation, conduct pre-install planning ensuring all equipment and hospital IS network requirements are met. Then, serve on-site as key lead of installation process with the regional field team. And after installs, facilitate full transition to regional sales teams and mapping specialists who will operate going forward.
- Manage the requisitioning and allocation of all materials and supplies required to support core capital installation in timely and sequential manner supporting sales strategy.
- Monitor on-time delivery of purchased goods and services to meet manufacturing needs while minimizing inventory investment.
- During internal and external audit inspections, responsible for meeting with auditors concerning questions and observations made relative to this department’s function.
- Analyze suppliers to establish expectations on installation an implementation strategy to better customer relationship.
- Drive continuous improvement of the S&OP and related business processes. Ensure standard utilization of available tools and processes for optimum performance and establish a methodology for continuous improvement of S&OP and related business processes.
What we're looking for in you:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales work experience
- 7+ years of sales related work experience
- Technical aptitude; be able to discuss, explain complex software algorithms.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, complete extensive training programs
Preferred qualifications:
- Medical device sales, clinical education and/or clinical research experience
- Master's degree

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $90,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
