About the role:

The core objective of this role is to own and manage an assigned territory while partnering with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve the goals of the CRM division. In this field-based sales position, you will be the primary representative of Boston Scientific CRM products to physicians, clinical staff, and hospital administration. You are accountable for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and executing strategic initiatives through the adoption of new technologies while supporting established products.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own all aspects of the assigned territory with direct accountability for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans, including account prioritization, stakeholder mapping, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of CRM products and services and their application in medical procedures.
  • Regularly visit existing and prospective customers to promote products and services through presentations, in-services, and procedural support.
  • Manage and utilize hospital supply agreements and purchasing group contracts within the assigned territory.
  • Manage territory inventory to ensure appropriate product availability, procedural readiness, optimal inventory levels, and compliance with Boston Scientific inventory control and tracking policies.
  • Provide expert clinical and technical support in Operating Rooms and EP Labs, serving as a trusted partner during routine and complex procedures.
  • Support hospital management, purchasing departments, and clinical leadership to ensure successful product adoption and utilization.
  • Actively gather and analyze competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer feedback to inform territory and regional strategies.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Ensure all sales and clinical activities are conducted in full compliance with Boston Scientific policies, industry regulations, and hospital guidelines.
  • Mentor and support the development of less experienced team members through coaching, knowledge sharing, and best-practice leadership.
  • Represent Boston Scientific values with integrity and professionalism at all times.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum achievement of a bachelor’s degree (life/health sciences preferred; CVT training is a benefit).
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience, preferably selling to surgeons, physicians, and hospital administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly absorb complex technical knowledge and effectively communicate it to diverse healthcare stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Up to 50% travel throughout BC, including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PC and mobile).
  • Demonstrates a consistently positive, professional attitude and represents a strong corporate image.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while contributing to overall group success.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. 

 

Compensation for hourly, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for salaried, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for sales roles is governed by Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives).
