Clinical Sales Representative, Coronary Therapies (based in Madrid)

Location: in the Comunidad de Madrid, on a remote working schedule.

 

About the Role:
We are looking for a Therapy Representative based in Community of Madrid to support the Coronary Therapies business. The coverage area will include Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, Aragón, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Andalucia and Galicia.
The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, has junior to little experience in an operating room (as nurse, or product specialist, or clinical specialist, etc.).
 

In this role you will be responsible to:

  • Supported by the Account Manager (AM), contributing to the development of the annual strategic plan by providing Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Marketing with detailed business intelligence for accounts in scope (e.g. market size and potential, market/product trends, business opportunities, competitive landscape, and updated clinical and economic stakeholders).
  • Typically dividing time between 80–90% Clinical activities and 10–20% Sales activities.
  • Supporting RSMs in understanding account unmet needs and expectations to facilitate account strategy and plan development.
  • Supporting medical personnel and field staff during procedures following appropriate training.
  • Acting as a competent contact person and consultant for medical management and medical staff.
  • Identifying, managing, and reporting to the RSM sales opportunities deriving from clinical support; consequently supporting the AM and RSM in clinical selling activities based on clinical support information provided.
  • Providing education support.
  • Maintaining market share at BSC accounts by delivering excellent product in-servicing, evaluations, and continuous procedural education.
  • Attending and actively participating in customer, company, and industry-sponsored events and meetings.
  • Based on clinical support activities, supporting the sales team in gathering information regarding upcoming tenders and negotiation opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing a proactive service support plan together with the Regional Sales Manager and team members to increase the quality of service provided to customers.
  • Performing procedural training, providing clinical support and therapy development, and consequently managing clinical evaluations, with AM support, to deliver excellent product in-servicing and product evaluations, ultimately securing Boston Scientific market share.
  • Recording customer information and activities in the Company CRM system as an alignment tool with other roles.
  • Performing periodic updates with the respective Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organization. 

 

What we are looking for in you?

  • Nurse or Biomedical Engineering degree.
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an operating room, ideally within the field of hemodynamics.
  • Native/bilingual Spanish and good English level.
  • Availability to travel for business.
  • Ability to work within a flexible and dynamic working environment.
  • Based in Madrid.
