About the role
The Interventional Oncology Marketing Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and results for the Interventional Oncology (IO) Franchise as part of the greater Peripheral Interventions (PI) business. This role is specifically focused on TheraSphere, a flagship and high visibility product within the IO business. TheraSphere is a minimally invasive, loco-regional radiation therapy that uses glass microspheres containing radioactive Y90 to treat hepatic malignancies.
We are looking for a Product Manager who is experienced driving local teams to develop, plan, and executing marketing strategies in the EMEA region. The role will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team both locally and globally, focusing on translating insights into action, and identifying solutions to complex problems. This person is an experienced marketer with therapy development experience for medical devices, medical software, and/or drugs. Ideally, this person must have familiarity the oncology or radiology space, with an understanding of the complex call points and relationships of multidisciplinary teams. As this is the downstream role with expectations to drive local execution, please be aware travel may be as high as 50%.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the product core messaging, value proposition, and brand strategy within the EMEA region

Working collaboratively with global stakeholders to leverage materials and positioning, influence decision making, and represent the EMEA customer base

Implement multi-channel marketing campaigns working with local country marketing, field sales, and medical teams

Collaborate and align with regional marketing team counterparts and cross-functional team members to ensure the strategy continuity

Establish strong relationships with other functions impacting franchise marketing activities (Sales, Medical Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, etc.)

Partner with sales leadership and organization to build programs and resources that work in concert with sales activities

Continuously measure the impact of marketing and field initiatives, generating early learnings, and driving continuous real time improvement across all initiatives

Monitor competitive landscape; anticipate competitive response to changing market dynamics; and proactively develop strategies to combat competitive activity
What we are looking for in you:

Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required. MBA preferred

Minimum 5 years of successful related business experience; pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or relevant advertising agency experience (oncology or radiology-specific)

Sales or sales management experience expected

Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders

Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making

Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently
