EMEA Portfolio & Coordination Specialist (PMO)
Location: Paris, Milan, Düsseldorf, Hemel-Hempstead or Madrid (Hybrid)
Salary: Depends on the local salary ranges.
Application deadline: 3rd of December, 2025 EOD
At Boston Scientific, we’re looking for a highly organised and communication-savvy professional to support the coordination and flow of work within our EMEA Commercial & Digital IT organisation. This role sits at the centre of our regional team and helps bring structure, clarity, and alignment across a wide range of initiatives, without requiring deep technical expertise.
If you enjoy working across teams, creating clear visuals, and enabling others to deliver their best work, this might be the ideal next step in your career.
Your role
As the EMEA Portfolio & Coordination Specialist, you’ll support the intake, organisation, and communication of project-related activity across the region. You will ensure new requests are logged properly, meetings are well-prepared, priorities are clear, and the right people remain aligned. Much of your impact will come from the structure you create and the clarity you bring to complex information.
In practice, this means you will:
- Register and organise new incoming project requests and guide them through the initial administration.
- Coordinate regular check-ins with project leaders to track progress, timelines, and potential risks.
- Create clear and engaging PowerPoint visuals that explain project dependencies and overall portfolio status.
- Prepare and organise EMEA Town Hall sessions, including proposing topics and coordinating speakers.
- Support operational documentation such as SOWs, invoice tracking, and budget-related materials.
Beyond these activities, you’ll also collaborate with our HR Business Partner on engagement and team development sessions, helping to foster a connected and aligned EMEA organisation.
What you bring
The ideal candidate is structured, proactive, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. You enjoy coordinating moving parts, clarifying expectations, and ensuring information flows smoothly across teams.
You are likely a great fit if you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience in an IT or IT-adjacent environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with additional European languages considered a plus.
- Confidence in preparing visually clear and engaging presentations, especially in PowerPoint.
- A well-organised, structured approach to managing timelines, updates, and dependencies.
- Curiosity and learning agility, especially when working in a busy IT ecosystem.
Experience with project coordination tools (such as Jira or ServiceNow), stakeholder management, or portfolio tracking is helpful, though not essential. What matters most is your ability to bring clarity, follow through on commitments, and collaborate effectively. Financial acumen, including comfort working with SOWs and invoice processes, will also be important in this role.
Why this role is exciting
You’ll work across the full EMEA Commercial & Digital IT organisation, gaining exposure to many teams, topics, and initiatives. This position offers a blend of coordination, communication, and operational contribution in a supportive, growth-focused environment. You’ll be part of a culture that values collaboration, transparency, and continuous learning—while having the chance to influence how we run our meetings, communicate updates, and stay aligned across the region.
Interview process
The process includes a 30-minute conversation with the recruiter, a one-hour interview with the hiring manager (optionally joined by a colleague), followed by a final technical interview.
