<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">In Boston Scientific we are currently looking for a Field Clinical Specialist to cover Spain and Portugal for a temporary project (9 months). The scope is to promote company products through education of current & potential customers and implant within a defined region by providing clinical education for routine issues. Responsible for the day-to-day field execution and management of Boston Scientific clinical trials at selected clinical trial<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> centers.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Commercial Support: Under close supervision, serve as primary resource for clinical support consisting of tackling routine issues relating to troubleshooting, programming, and patient follow-up for company products.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Assist in the education of customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by participating in presentations and demonstrations to keep all customers abreast of the latest BSC products.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Attend unit implants in the labs and operation rooms of hospital accounts and perform patient follow-up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted products.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Team up with Sales Rep to meet existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Start developing business relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences).
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, clinical, research, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Clinical Trial Support: Managing and providing technical support for clinical trial activity within assigned territory by supporting the site authorization process and study procedures as defined in the clinical investigational plan.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Providing initial and continuous training, education and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Providing initial and continuous training, education and support for clinical center personnel on clinical trial protocol, clinical process, products and features under investigation, and procedures involving those products and features.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">On-call duties may be required 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

 

Role Requirements:
 

  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">We are looking for an entry level professional. General knowledge and application of technical and business concepts, procedures, and practices. Interprets company policies and procedures to resolve issues. Beginning knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">At least 1 year of experience in a similar role and/or experience as a nurse working with surgeons.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Native/bilingual level of Spanish and high English level.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Problem Solving skills:<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif"> Applies professional concepts and company policies and procedures, analyzes data or situations, and exercises judgment to recommend solutions to solve problems. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be obtained.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Planning and Organization<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">: Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule with guidance from manager.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Discretion/Latitude<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">; Supervision Received; Decision Making: Receives general supervision. Makes recommendations which may be reviewed by manager. May exercise authority within limits. May seek guidance in resolving problems.
  • <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Business Relationships and Project Management:<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif"> Begins establishing and cultivating internal business relationships to facilitate completion of tasks. May participate in project teams.

 

Location: Madrid<span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">.
Territory to cover: <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">Spain and Portugal.
 
Contract: <span style="font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif">9 months Temporary contract (contrato temporal, 9 meses)
