We are currently looking for a technology passionate and team-oriented individual to join our Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships. This is a new role, designed for early-career / recent graduate hires, that are looking to learn on-the-job and develop a career within a health-tech and digital-health and medical-device environment.

 

This temporary 12 month hybrid contract can be based out of our Madrid or Milan office.  


The purpose of the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships (HS&P) team is to help establish Boston Scientific as a leading Healthcare Solutions provider by engaging in long-term partnerships with customers, providing them with products, services and solutions which are differentiated and tailored to their needs.

 

The core objectives of this role is to support the development of a digital health ecosystem used by our customers by:


-    Completing the assigned tasks on the training curriculum designed as part of the development plan of this programme
-    Cooperating with Boston Scientific solutions development and technology team members to ensure accurate and timely release of digital programs deliverables
-    Support the development team in QA as part of scrum team
-    Developing expertise in rapid application development frameworks


Subject to successful performance reviews and alignment with local business unit needs, candidates can expect to be given the opportunity to develop their career within the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships division or pursue alternative career-paths within other Boston Scientific business units.


Key Responsibilities


•    Support of the Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships Team in setting up and implementing strategic digital projects. This will include:
o    Designing and executing test plans and test automation for digital health solutions
o    Identifying and documenting software bugs and issues
o    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve software issues
o    Writing test reports and presenting findings to the development team
o    Conducting literature reviews for relevant technologies and standards
•    Support research in areas as:
o    Healthcare data engineering, analytics and medical data models


Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements


•    Background in IT,  Biomedical Engineering or data science  
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
•    Excellent communication and collaboration skills
•    Awareness of software testing methodologies and techniques
•    Familiarity with any programming languages, eg:  Python, Java or SQL / DB administration
•    Awareness of digital health solutions or enterprise application development frameworks 
•    Motivated to acquire expertise in automation medical data analytics.


We will be running a recruitment process which if selected, will include 2 stages: a screening interview and a (virtual) competency-based interview-assessment.
