About the Role:
We are hiring a Product Manager for Spain to drive growth of our Interventional Cardiology franchise of Coronary Therapy at country level. This role combines strategic marketing, strong cross-functional execution, and hands-on commercial enablement.
You will own the local marketing plan and budget, lead product launches, coordinate tender activities, drive the capital equipment process, and ensure omni-channel campaigns are embedded into real commercial execution. You will work closely with Sales, Product Specialists, the Tender Department, Engineers, and Cluster/EMEA Marketing to ensure strong implementation discipline and measurable impact.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Local Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Define and drive the local marketing strategy aligned with country commercial leadership and cluster/EMEA strategy.
- Develop, execute, and follow up on the local Franchise Marketing Plan and Marketing Budget.
- Translate market and customer insights into actionable initiatives.
- Design local customer journeys aligned with franchise priorities.
- Track KPIs, ensure execution discipline, and drive corrective actions when performance is off-track.
Market, Customer & Competitive Analysis
- Lead local market and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities, threats, and portfolio gaps.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and tender dynamics.
- Generate actionable customer and market insights to guide local strategy, positioning, and prioritization.
- Translate data and insights into clear strategic recommendations for country leadership and cluster marketing.
Product Launch Excellence
- Lead flawless local product launches in coordination with cluster/EMEA marketing.
- Equip Sales and Product Specialists with positioning, value propositions, and selling tools.
- Localize messaging and promotional materials.
Tender Management & Coordination
- Own and coordinate local tender support activities.
- Work closely with the Tender Department, Product Specialists, and Sales to ensure tenders are accurate, competitive, compliant, and submitted on time.
- Provide product positioning, competitive input, and post-tender follow-up.
Capital Equipment Process Leadership
- Lead the local capital equipment process.
- Coordinate with Engineers and Sales Teams to qualify opportunities.
Omni-Channel & Digital Marketing
- Work closely with the Omni-Channel / Digital team to embed campaigns into the local plan and develop local ones when needed.
- Ensure campaigns are localized and implemented by the commercial team.
- Track performance and adoption of digital initiatives.
Stakeholder & KOL Management
- Act as a cross-functional orchestrator across Sales, Product Specialists, Tender, Engineers, and Marketing.
- Manage key local stakeholders and KOL relationships with Sales.
- Support education programs and reference site development.
What are we looking for in you:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Around 2-3 years’ experience in marketing, product management, or equivalent commercial role.
- Experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals required; Cardiology and Coronary Therapy experiences are strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of digital transformation and customer experience.
- Strong business acumen and long-term planning capability.
- Solid understanding of clinical and scientific topics.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate defectively across functions and work as part of the team
- Proven ability to influence without authority and align diverse internal stakeholders toward common objectives
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
