Endoscopy Sales Training Programme Co-Ordinator


The Endoscopy Sales Training Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the coordination of key program preparation, deployment, follow up and management in a sustainable effective manner within the sales training function. The Program Coordinator will manage all the developed training programs within the Endoscopy organization ensuring a systematic process is in place for both management and deployment. He/she will work closely with the EMEA training managers, the Global Sales Training team, and the Head of Divisional Sales Training to ensure up to date and appropriate tools and systems are employed within the training function.




  • Work in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and collate an annual Training Plan and Training Calendar each year to build leadership capability and assist in achievement of company goals;  
  • In collaboration with the divisional training team, plan; schedule and co-ordinate all training programs (classroom and virtual programs) at least one quarter in advance and complete associated check lists;
  • Develop compelling internal communication for all programs, incorporating the use of appropriate internal platforms and the support of sales training and business leaders;
  • Organize and implement the delivery of learning solutions including any re-training actions necessary for team members to ensure compliance to our function processes and systems. Leads and/or supports the roll-out of new programs.
  • Document training, manage training records, manage FST activity records and drive FST payment. May lead, manage or support the development and use of report metrics to support SLT reviews and manager accountability.
  • Monitor, evaluate and record the effectiveness of all Endoscopy training programs, learning assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Coordinates, monitors and tracks new hire training process with global sales training and hiring managers
  • Regularly review and analyze training processes to reduce waste (lean), drive continuous improvement and enrich customer experience (customer centricity);
  • Provide administration and logistics for all divisional training deployment; meeting registration and approval; POs raising and approval; training rooms, lunches, preparation of rooms & materials (for example, photocopying, putting together handouts, ordering materials from vendors).
  • Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver programs according to plan.
  • Organize meetings, conference calls /video conferences, minute & action documentation.  
  • Manage sponsorship and honorariums for physicians or third-party contractors etc., Manage contracts for physicians working with the training department. Invoice payment of vendors through appropriate invoice system
  • Budget maintenance and control (itemize spend by cost center)
  • Training Material Management & Distribution:  Maintaining the stock of Training material in conjunction with Global partners which includes Samples, literature & other media to support local training. Management of training material translations.
  • Training Courses: Update & archive all training/presentation materials as per compliance guidelines (METIS).
  • E-learning: Ensure new BSC clinical & technical e-learning solutions are available across the region. Tracking of e-learning participation, scores, and compliance.
  • To lead, manage, facilitate or support processes and efforts required to meet Quality System and compliance requirements.
  • Travel required (congresses, internal training events)

  • Willing and able to travel as required by workload (20%)


    Location: This role to be based in Hemel Hempstead, UK

    Languages: Fluent oral and written English is required. Additional language is an advantage.
