Senior Accountant (Defined-Term Contract)

As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the accounting team that is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements in line with US GAAP, Boston Scientific Group policies and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
 

• Preparing and reviewing the Balance reconciliation in the month end process, as well as analysing the deviations.
• Be involved in day-to-day operational activities through handling all accounting areas, GL adjustments.
• Be involved in TAX preparation and presentation (VAT and Withholding tax). Be responsible for tax compliance.
• Ensure compliance with SOX policies.
• Responsible for month-end close journal entries necessary.
• Preparation and review of the monthly close/country reporting process.
• Supporting in statutory preparation and relationship with External auditors.
• Be involved as main contact in T&E expenses at local level and Corporate cards.
• Analysis of critical vendor and approve their invoices.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

What are we looking for in you:

• At least 4–5 years of experience in a big 4 company or in a multinational company.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and Local Regulations.
• Good understanding of External Reporting and Financial Close activities.
• Team-player with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work well independently and with a team and perform well under pressure.
• Concise and accurate, with attention to detail.
• Fluent in Business English.
• University Degree in Accounting / Finance
• SAP knowledge is a must.
• Good skills in Excel.
• Cadency and Ariba knowledge will be considered a plus.
