At Boston Scientific, we’re on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager to drive key strategic initiatives and business transformation programs across the EMEA region. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our profitable and sustainable growth by managing key projects that align with the company’s regional strategy. Your role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the design, planning, and implementation of major strategic initiatives that will help shape the future of Boston Scientific in the EMEA region. You will collaborate with business leaders, internal teams, and external stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, develop business transformation programs, and implement process improvements. With your expertise in project management and change management, you’ll ensure the successful execution of key initiatives that drive long-term success.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives: Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that will support profitable growth in EMEA.
  • Manage project design and execution: Develop project plans, define scopes, and ensure appropriate resources are allocated. Lead cross-functional teams and provide updates to senior management on progress and key developments.
  • Champion change management: Partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies and tactics that will enable lasting change across the organization, focusing on collaboration and long-term adoption.
  • Develop comprehensive measurement tools: Design and implement KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the projects and provide actionable insights.
  • Foster stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes and support institutional collaborations globally.
  • Lead and mentor teams: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

 

About you

You are an experienced project manager with a passion for driving change and delivering impactful business solutions. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are skilled at leading complex projects while collaborating with diverse teams. You’re a proactive problem-solver with strong communication and leadership abilities, always striving for results and success.

 

  • Experience: At least 10-12 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years managing complex IT projects.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of change management principles, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor others in project and program management.
  • Expertise: Familiarity with AI technologies and a strong interest in their application within the business.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Location: Must be eligible to work in Europe, with a willingness to travel (up to 30%).

We will be closing the role on the 24th of April 2025 (EOD). Until that moment we will be reviewing all applications coming in and providing feedback ultimately on the 2nd of May.

 

The recruitment process consists of 3 stages: a first interview with the recruiter, a 2nd round with 2 project managers on the team and the final round is an assessment based panel interview with 2 directors & an HR manager.
