Senior Pricing Analyst

About the Role:
In a fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement new ways of working around pricing / margin, bringing additional value and making an impact at country and EMEA level.  We are looking for a self-driven person willing to challenge the current status quo and develop improved ways of working.


In this role, you will be responsible:


Dual responsibility within Pricing:

 

  • As Cross-divisional pricing partner at country level, you will:
    • Partner with the commercial organization to identify Pricing and Margin opportunities at cross-divisional level and support them in driving their execution. 
    • Drive cross-divisional forums ensuring alignment and a consistent approach across regions and customers, leveraging best practices and learnings.
    • Co-develop cross-divisional deals and pricing/capital equipment strategies, performing ad-hoc analysis of different scenarios to optimize profitability. 
    • Drive usage and leverage EMEA pricing analytics/tools at country level, contributing to the education and pricing culture
    • Be part of customer negotiations together with the sales organization
    • Define and execute strategies to maximize contract compliance and market share (eg. quarterly business reviews with the key customer stakeholders).
       
  • As part of the EMEA Pricing Centre of Excellence, you will:
    • Support the adoption of cross-divisional initiatives at country level
    • Share pricing best practices from and to EMEA
    • Highlight country needs and areas of improvement in ways of working
    • Provide input for the development of new/improved pricing tools and processes at EMEA level. 

 

What are we looking for in you:

  • Fluency in English as well as in Spanish
  • 4+ years of experience in Pricing or Analytical roles
  • Experience in sales is an advantage
  • Highly committed, resilient, self-driven person willing to challenge the current status quo and develop improved ways of working
  • Proven ability to analyze data from different sources and present analysis and recommendations clearly in writing and orally
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Clear and high communication level with ability to influence and motivate internal and external customers
  • Ability to work in an inter-connected company with high internal collaboration between different functions across different divisions. 
  • Experience in the medical devices industry is a plus
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel is required; Tableau is a plus
