We are currently looking for a Graduate to join our Urology Division to work in the Northern region of England (Manchester, Leeds, Nottingham, Leicester). This is a new training program designed to help train and develop Graduates that are looking to move into a commercial and clinical Medical Device environment.
Successful candidates will be offered a 12-month fixed-term contract, where they will learn and expand their experiences in the Urology field from our trained Sales and Support Representatives in a live environment. This will give you a first-hand insight into the commercial world of healthcare outside of a university setting. You will develop many competences while performing in a professional work situation.
Successful candidates may be retained by Boston Scientific in Urology or other technical divisions. The position will start in March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participates in learning and training events to develop product knowledge and clinical and commercial skills.
• Accompany Boston Scientific Therapy Account Managers visiting theatres to witness case support until clinically competent to support clinicians alone.
• Developing quarterly plans designed to achieve revenue targets, managing existing and new customers/accounts in the assigned territory.
• Demonstrating planning and prioritizing the assigned territory to maximize opportunities for our existing and new products in line with divisional goals and objectives
• Being recognized as the primary trusted point-of-contact for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff
• Attending national and international meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services
• Analyzing and reporting to your manager and/or others (monthly & quarterly) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools
• Contributes to the preparation and production of presentations and reports by using word processing, spreadsheets, and other computer programs.
• Conducts her/himself as a regular full-time member of the team by accepting and adhering to BSC's rules and regulations and by always engaging in professional and personable conduct with internal stakeholders and customers. The Graduate is also obligated to comply with any confidentiality and professional policies established by Boston Scientific.
• Becomes knowledgeable about his or her own responsibilities and the business and operational issues inherent in them as well as about the BSC's management and particular issues relevant to the Company.
• Prepares an oral and written evaluation for presentation to Management upon completion of the year.
To be successful in this application, you will need to:
• Have planning, time management, strong communication and presentation skills.
• Have completed a placement within a clinical, hospital or similar setting.
• Be computer/technically savvy.
• Have a want to learn and develop within a commercial setting.
• Be willing to travel across the UK or Europe and be away for up to a week at a time.
• Hold a current driving license
• Be a recent Bachelor’s or Master's graduate with a Scientific Degree or equivalent.
• Be fluent in English and any other European language is a plus
