About the role:
Cardiac Diagnostics is currently seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and strategic Project Manager professional. This individual will be responsible for leading the execution of software, server, and operational projects, as well as related work stream activities within the Cardiac Diagnostics organization. Project activities include all operational support tasks, such as the building and deployment of software and system configuration, from initial launch to the end of the system’s life.
Project sizes will range from small, one-off tasks to complex design and business changes. The Project Manager I will use cross-functional team members from R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Monitoring Center, and Operations to simultaneously handle multiple projects (2 to 5) of various sizes.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Direct and manage complex software and hardware projects from beginning to end.
  • Develop an understanding of critical business processes and systems, and lead changes to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that meet objectives and support business goals.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones; develop full-scale project plans and associated communications and regulatory documents.
  • Develop full-scale project and resource plans with regular cross-functional communications and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths to mitigate risks.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize system and security update needs.
  • Establish common metrics to monitor trends in deployment frequency, stability, failure rate, and reliability.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and contractors to take positive action and accountability for their work.

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant project leadership experience in R&D or Operations, either leading projects or as a team member leading significant segments of projects.
  • Experience in managing software projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and situational leadership.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Preferred degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Experience in Release and Environment Stack Management.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, with a demonstrated ability to confidently handle top responsibility for project completion.
  • Experience in software development, testing, or equivalent.
  • Proven success in large-scale project management.
  • PMP certification is desirable.
