About the role:
The Senior Server Programmer role leads the design and development of Microservices to support our Patient Care environment. The resulting code will provide vital heart monitoring data for our patients and should be designed for scalability and with an eye for maintainability if a failure occurs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with our lead architect to understand and develop requirements for the Microservices
- Code, test, and debug your software on server side
- Develop and deploy microservices that will be called millions of times a day
Required qualification:
- 5+ years OOP server-side development
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
- Experience and deep understanding of multithreading and thread-safe programming
- Experience working high scalability projects involving cloud-based infrastructure design and implementation, including debug of distributed systems
- Experience developing quality software products and shipping production ready software
Preferred qualifications:
- C# and .Net Framework experience
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as CosmosDB, MongoDB or others
- Excellent communication skills on a technical team
- High attention to detail
