About the role:

The Associate Director, Medical Affairs & Clinical Strategy will be responsible for external engagement, evidence generation, and scientific communications, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and publication excellence for Neuromodulation’s Interventional Spine franchise.  It requires strong cross-functional collaboration with executive and clinical teams to ensure the integrity of clinical data communication.

 

This role is hybrid (3 days onsite) out of the Maple Grove, MN office location

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Interpret clinical data and trial designs to identify evidence gaps and strategic opportunities within the vascular space.
  • Set and align scientific and communication strategies with therapeutic area goals, leveraging clinical trends and unmet needs to drive impactful publications and education initiatives.
  • Translate complex scientific data into clear, accurate, and compelling content for diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, HEMA and Marketing to ensure scientific messaging is integrated into overarching business strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), fostering collaboration and embedding best practices across medical marketing, clinical, and sales functions.
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of scientific content, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and medical education programs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader to internal and external stakeholders, contributing to initiatives that enhance therapy adoption and reinforce scientific credibility.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Clinical Affairs or related field
  • Experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry
  • 25% domestic and international travel

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or Phd preferred
  • Experience with Neuromodulation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, and to solve complex problems.
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with a passion for innovation and patient care

Maximum Salary: $ 261600

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
