About the role:
Boston Scientific is transforming how commercial teams leverage data, analytics, and artificial intelligence to drive better customer engagement and business outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Capabilities Product Manager – Analytics & AI to lead the strategy, development, and continuous evolution of digital capabilities that empower our Field Sales and Sales Operations teams.
This role is responsible for defining and delivering AI-enabled products and analytical experiences that translate complex data into intuitive, actionable insights embedded directly within commercial workflows. You will partner across business, technology, analytics, UX, and data science teams to develop scalable products that improve seller productivity, enhance decision-making, and establish a modern digital ecosystem that can support future innovation.
The ideal candidate combines product management expertise with strong analytical thinking, an understanding of modern AI and data capabilities, and a passion for designing digital experiences that solve meaningful business problems. While this role will help shape emerging AI-enabled solutions, it is fundamentally responsible for building repeatable product capabilities that can scale across multiple commercial initiatives.

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Your responsibilities will include:
● Define and execute the product vision and multi-year roadmap for analytics and AI-enabled commercial capabilities aligned to Cardiology strategic priorities.
● Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, predictive insights, workflow automation, and emerging AI technologies can improve field effectiveness and commercial execution.
● Balance short-term business needs with long-term platform strategy, ensuring capabilities are reusable, scalable, and adaptable to future products.
● Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to inform product strategy and investment decisions.
● Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for digital capabilities that combine analytics, AI, workflow automation, and intuitive user experiences.
● Translate commercial business problems into product requirements that leverage data, machine learning, and intelligent decision support.
● Partner with Data Science and Analytics teams to incorporate predictive models, recommendation engines, and AI-driven insights into user-facing applications.
● Ensure products deliver actionable intelligence within existing sales workflows, enabling faster and more informed decision-making.
● Define product success metrics and continuously optimize capabilities through experimentation, user feedback, and data-driven iteration.
● Serve as the voice of the customer by engaging field sales, sales leadership, sales operations, marketing, and commercial excellence teams to understand unmet needs.
● Conduct user research, journey mapping, and workflow analysis to identify opportunities to simplify complex processes through digital experiences.
● Prioritize product enhancements based on customer value, strategic alignment, technical feasibility, and measurable business impact.
● Champion user adoption by partnering with Training and Change Management teams to deliver intuitive experiences and successful product launches.
● Lead cross-functional product teams consisting of IT, Software Engineering, UX, Data Engineering, Data Science, Commercial Excellence, and Business stakeholders.
● Translate business objectives into clearly defined product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs.
● Facilitate agile product development practices, balancing stakeholder priorities while maintaining a clear product vision.
● Drive alignment across technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality digital products.
● Partner with enterprise data and technology teams to ensure products are built on trusted, secure, and scalable data foundations.
● Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to establish data quality, governance, privacy, and Responsible AI practices.
● Ensure AI-enabled capabilities are transparent, measurable, and aligned with organizational compliance and security standards.
● Establish KPIs that measure adoption, user engagement, commercial impact, and operational efficiency.
● Monitor product performance through analytics and customer feedback, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.
● Develop business cases and communicate product value to senior leadership through measurable outcomes and strategic insights.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
● Minimum of 5 years' experience in Product Management, Digital Product Management, Product Ownership, or similar roles delivering technology-enabled business solutions.
● Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product development initiatives from concept through launch and continuous enhancement.
● Experience translating complex business needs into digital products, analytics solutions, or workflow applications.
● Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies, backlog management, and product roadmap planning.
● Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and business organizations.
Preferred qualifications:
● Experience building products that leverage analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence to improve business performance.
● Familiarity with modern AI technologies, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), recommendation systems, or intelligent assistants.
● Experience partnering with Data Science, UX, Software Engineering, and Data Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
● Understanding of analytics platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar enterprise technologies.
● Experience using product analytics and experimentation to drive continuous product improvement.
● Knowledge of commercial sales processes, CRM platforms, and digital workflow tools.
● Experience within healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or other regulated industries is preferred.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
