The Coronary Therapies Sales Trainer (Cardiology Training) Develops and conducts Coronary Therapy (CT) clinical and product training for company personnel.   Monitors and evaluates employee product training needs to ensure the ongoing development of employees' ability to meet customer and product technology demands of the company. Works closely with business partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to plan and develop high-quality learning experiences to support business goals. This individual is responsible for the development and delivery of training content. This position reports to the CT Sales Training Manager.

  

Your responsibilities will include:  

  • Develops and conducts product training and education programs for company personnel that support area and company goals.
  • Evaluates product training needs of company personnel by evaluating employee's knowledge, skills and abilities against needs of job and identifying gaps where training is a solution to ensure on-going development of employees' ability to meet customer and product technology demands. Makes recommendations to sales management and Human Resources based on evaluation.
  • Monitors the training of company personnel by reviewing job requirements and other knowledge requirements as outlined in the Training Progression Guidelines (TPG) to ensure employees are properly trained in processes and procedures.
  • Implements measurements to improve company personnel performance or enhance employee technical product knowledge in coordination with local mentors and leadership.
  • Attends professional conferences to build networks of contacts, advance technical knowledge, and ensure professional expertise is maintained.
  • Contribute in facilitating on site courses in Maple Grove or other locations as dictated by the training plan
  • Conduct periodic field rides with field reps to determine training needs and efficacy
  • Partner with Training Operations to develop and execute CT training curriculum

 

 Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of CT clinical work experience (including experience in IVUS, intravascular physiology, CTOs, and complex PCIs)
  • Must be highly skilled in Microsoft products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,).
  • Must be a self-starter with a clear focus on curriculum development.
  • Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and manage requests coming from a variety of sources/users.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
