About the role:
Responsible for ensuring that all healthcare provider (HCP) engagements are executed to meet the organization's needs and compliance requirements in respect to medical education and training, sales training, marketing, and R&D initiatives.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee team responsible for services related to Medical Education & Training, Medical & Scientific Affairs, Sales Training, Marketing, and R&D to support all healthcare provider contracting and compliance needs
  • Plan for and lead team in the support of conferences, tradeshows, advisory boards, medical education and training events through development of annual needs assessments, processing of contracts, and one-time Letters Of Agreement (LOAs)
  • Ensure faculty qualifications are adequately completed by the requesting function, and facilitate compliance review/approval, including the annual faculty list(s)
  • Support the planning and processing of Market Research Agreements, site agreements, HCPs engagements for sales meetings (POAs, NSM, etc)
  • Conduct Fair Market Value analysis/documentation and engagements outside of an Annual Needs Assessment
  • Support R&D with VOC / Animal Labs / Consulting documentation and HCP engagements
  • Negotiate contracts, involving the appropriate BSC leadership (Business, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, Patient Privacy, Risk Management)
  • Facilitate negotiations of contracts needing intellectual property and risk management clauses and/or exceptions
  • Keep abreast of and communicate out regularly about updates to reporting, payment, tax laws, and other engagement changes as determined by government, state, local, or other authorities
  • Assist as needed with IRFs, discrepancy memos, service requests, SAP vendor maintenance, investigations, audits, Sunshine reporting questions, and dispute remediation
  • Field miscellaneous questions or actions-needed from the Business regarding all aspects of HCP engagement (attendee tracking, websites, communications, service differentiation, etc.)
  • Support teams by providing training on compliance and contracting to ensure processes are clear, understood, and implemented
  • Partner with Engage development team on system functionality, transition needs and enhancements 
  • Support sales team with any compliance training; support development of training materials as needed
  • Manage ICG Compliance SharePoint site and applicable SOPs, WIs, and other process documents

 

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working directly or indirectly in the compliance and contracting space
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a diverse group of customers (i.e. physician, clinical, marketing, hospital administrators)


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience and knowledge of the Medical Education and Medical Affairs space
  • People leadership experience
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills
  • Leader and team player - strong communicator and collaborator
  • Ability to work autonomously on multiple projects at one time
  • Able to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects from start to finish with strong cross-functional stakeholder collaboration
