About the role:
The Digital Media Planner assists in the development and execution of global integrated digital marketing programs to align with the overall marketing and communications objectives of the Cardiology division for its CRM, EP, and CDX franchises. The successful candidate acts as the digital media expert, consulting with the Digital Marketing Strategist, Customer Experience and Creative Integration team members to execute strategic digital marketing plans that meet the business needs. This role will focus on campaigns targeting Health Care Professionals (HCP).


The ideal candidate will be able to work hybrid out of MN, however, remote candidates with the right experience will be considered.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aid in the development of a customer-centric digital strategy and influence a user-first mindset across integrated marketing communications.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our customers and their behaviors across platforms, channels, and activities to optimize digital channel performance and inform future initiatives.
  • Partner with Digital Strategist to develop comprehensive digital plans for awareness and lead generation campaigns (SEO & SEM, digital advertising, email, social media, landing pages, etc.) with measurable objectives.
  • Manage the agency relationship for search engine marketing (SEM), programmatic display and mass media.
  • Actively monitor and optimize campaigns within respective platforms (Google Campaign Manager 360 and Google Ads).
  • Partner with analytics resources and the sales operations team to show value of campaigns and provide a regular cadence of performance reports.
  • Identify and communicate trends and opportunities through a working knowledge of analytics, SEO, lead generation, 3rd party research, competitive analysis, digital trends and past campaign data.
  • Manage digital projects through completion by working with the appropriate cross-functional team members. 
  • Ensure all the necessary deliverables for digital projects are completed and handed over on time and on budget
  • Manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work for implementation and reporting/optimizations.


What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferred degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Thorough understanding of digital platforms, channels (email, SEO, SEM, Social, and advertising including programmatic), user experience and content strategy is preferred.
  • In platform experience with Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager 360 (or other ad servers) 
  • Understanding of and comfortable using Google analytics
  • Agency Management
  • Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills 
  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Strong track record of collaboration
  • Must work cross-functionally with several marketing team members both in-person and via Teams

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce and Marketing Cloud
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Travel up to 10% depending on requirements. The candidate should be comfortable with travel and overtime as commitment requires.
