About the Role:
The AFS Digital Marketing team is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist II to support the development of best-in-class digital marketing programs aligned with the overall marketing and communications objectives of the WATCHMAN and Electrophysiology divisions. The successful candidate will act as a digital subject matter expert to support comprehensive digital strategies, activate campaign plans and measure the effectiveness of digital channels and tactics. Qualified candidates will have experience in digital marketing (programmatic, SEO/ SEM, social media, email marketing, website strategy, analytics) to provide a seamless customer experience across our digital ecosystem and drive business results among healthcare providers (HCPs).

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Develop a strong understanding of our customers and their attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels and activities to provide segmentation and personalization to the marketing plans.

Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop digital marketing plans aligned to the customer journey.

Partner with external agencies as needed for digital marketing programs.

Ensure digital tactics, including webpage development, SEM, programmatic advertising, social media, and email marketing, are executed on time and on budget to high quality standards.

Audit existing campaigns, analyze keywords, ad copy, bid strategy, and elements to identify new opportunities to improve performance and KPIs.

Partner with analytics teams to show the value of programs and provide a regular cadence of reports.

Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers for stakeholder and legal compliance reviews and approvals.

Partner with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute the testing strategy for all media campaigns.

Build cross-functional relationships with digital marketing, analytics, UX/Design, MarTech, IT, and others as needed.

Collaborate with other divisions across Boston Scientific to communicate performance and identify testing opportunities on an ongoing basis.

Identify and communicate trends and opportunities through a working knowledge of analytics, SEO, lead generation, 3rd party research, competitive analysis, digital trends and past campaign data.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree required, marketing or similar field preferred.

3+ years of overall marketing, communications and/or digital experience in a B2C or B2B environment

Experience in digital media types, platforms, targeting, and how they relate to campaign objectives (i.e., awareness, engagement, lead generation, conversion).

Experience in SEO/SEM, programmatic display advertising, social media, email marketing, website strategy and development.

Direct experience in self-service platforms including Google Ads/Campaign Manager 360, Google Analytics/ GA4, LinkedIn Ads.

Proven understanding of pixel tagging and analytics.

Ability to manage multiple programs at once and effectively prioritize work.

Basic skills in Outlook, MS Teams, Excel & PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or pharma industry.

Experience with emerging technologies including generative AI.

Strong interpersonal communication skills, written and presentation skills.

Self-starter – ability to take on new, less-defined tasks.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
