About the role:
The Digital Product Manager within Commercial IT is responsible for driving the deployment of the PACE (Pricing and Contracting Evolution) digital product in partnership with the Interventional Cardiology business unit aligning with divisional strategy. This person will bring their excitement, experience and customer focus to a dynamic and cross functional team. Owns the vision and definition of the product; represents the voice of the user/asset and stakeholders; creates, maintains and prioritizes the backlog providing the Digital Sprint Team with the information they need on what needs to be built and in what order. Collaborates with COE experts and facilitates execution with business stakeholders to align value and drive innovation for digital commerce initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:
Vision & Strategy:
- In alignment with the Global Product Owner, develop and execute a strategic vision for this digital solution across the Vascular Therapies and Interventional Oncology & Embolization business units, including defining and prioritizing product capabilities, features, and enhancements to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders within the division to ensure PACE aligns with business strategy and requirements.
- Partner with divisional leadership to establish product business value, messaging, and adoption strategies.
- Partner with the global product manager to align an IT Divisional Strategy related to global technical feasibility, architecture and harmonization
- Support and inform strategic plans to improve operations and drive business growth.
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the Global Product Owner & Agile Development Team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, helping to discuss requirements and prioritize solutions.
- Facilitate structured communication across divisional sponsors and committees
- Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on agile product delivery.
- Support changing management by assisting PACE manager (business) with training materials and job aids.
- Manage cross-team dependencies within divisional delivery process (upstream, CAI, downstream) & engage appropriate cross-functional teams for feature rollout, so business and customers have appropriate documentation, presentations, or other artifacts.
Planning & Delivery Oversight:
- Lead and manage the agile product team, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner with the Global IT Product Manager to develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, milestones, deliverables, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and deliverables requested by the division based on business value and competing timelines.
- Oversee implementation of features ensuring measurable impact.
- Monitor program and sprint progress, resolve blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure workstreams meet requirements and project goals.
Change Management:
- Partners with the business on change management activities, including training, adoption support, and identifying change champions.
- Championing a customer-first approach, gathering feedback and insights to inform product decisions, leverage product designers to provide recommendations for the best customer experience, and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Drive lessons learned and record process improvements for future initiatives.
- Partner with PACE Manager (business) to drive adoption of solutions and measure impact through KPIs, ROI, and business outcomes.
Performance & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain KPIs and both qualitative and quantitative data from customers, business partners and SMEs, and business and system operational data. Partner with data analyst to build and refine dashboards showing KPIs with targets, and metrics that demonstrate feature value.
- Create and share structured status reports, dashboards, and project plan updates.
- Report on the divisional program status up to Global team at various governance meetings
- Deliver strategic presentations, including executive-level decks, to communicate progress and outcomes.
- Raise potential risks to stakeholders and define resolution plans
Agile Team Management:
- Facilitate release planning, sprint demos, and daily standups with Agile development team
- Drive end to end product execution for divisional product team, from discovery to delivery, ensuring compliance and operational readiness
- Partner with IT BA on discovery, detailed requirements gathering, and estimation process
- Own, refine, and maintain the product backlog in Jira (including prioritization of features and user stories).
- Decompose product vision into features and user stories, ensuring clarity and alignment with goals.
- Define sprint goals, oversee backlog refinement, and accept completed user stories.
- Maintain and continuously upgrade knowledge of Digital Health and consumer wellness technologies, external competitive landscape, regulations, clinical settings, clinical workflows, DH product interconnectivity and system integrations, disease states; capable of learning rapidly to fill any knowledge gaps.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline
- Proven experience as a Product Manager delivering digital solutions.
- Deep understanding of order to cash business processes.
- Extensive experience working on both website and mobile application implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of digital trends.
- Data driven decision makers understand the relationship between key operational metrics and business drivers in the context of the organization's industry and how closely related teams integrate with others to accomplish their objectives and drive efficiencies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities with a history of making challenging tradeoffs in establishing product priorities that have required sophisticated analyses and challenging negotiations
- Experience working in a regulated industry.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Mastery in agile development practices including leading ceremonies and mentoring team members.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the medical device or life sciences industry and familiarity with HIPPA, Covered Entity, Privacy and Security Requirements
- Understanding best practices with medical device products through the full lifecycle, including familiarity of the processes for launching a physical medical device.
- Broad supply chain business process knowledge
- Expertise in Data Analysis, including use of visualization tools, such as Tableau to measure and track progress to KPIs
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deploying AI solutions.
- Familiarity with ethical considerations and best practices in AI development.
- Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), SAP ECC/S4, Salesforce.com
- Utilize influencing techniques when interacting with stakeholders.
