About the Role:

Product Manager within the larger IT DH umbrella. Responsibility for daily guidance of a product team.

 

Work Mode

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Incorporate Agile, Lean, and User Centered Design methodologies to execute on product development, implementation and operations.
  • Serve as a Product Manager in a balanced team developing Digital Health solutions and products within the Digital Health Studio.
  • Work in dedicated, co-located product teams, consisting of Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Designers.
  • Partner with Designers to lead kickoff, Discovery and Framing, and other exploratory activities for each project.
  • Articulate Product Vision and Strategy to the team, to stakeholders, and to external parties.
  • Establish Product Roadmap in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Establish and track measurable objectives for the team.
  • Responsible for product development prioritization and decisions on releases, as a result of a close partnership with end users and the business.
  • Maintain collaboration between designer, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Inform product decisions by collecting and prioritizing designer, engineer, and business stakeholder input.
  • Adjust product direction based on data, customer feedback, and business stakeholder feedback.
  • Manage the backlog and continually de-risk the product direction.
  • Write user stories, maintain backlog, validate product features and design.
  • Hold team meetings (Standup, IPM – Iteration Planning Meeting, Retro) and help plan and facilitate stakeholder and end-user meetings/interviews.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, business model, MVP.
  • Responsible to release new product as often as is appropriate and making that determination.
  • Communicate product updates back to business stakeholders through frequent communications such as weekly demo.
  • Help maintain a sustainable pace for the team.
  • Help maintain team culture and communication.
  • Work with colleagues in IT and R&D, and partner and communicate frequently with Quality, Regulatory, Legal, Security, Privacy and other functions to deliver compliant software in an agile manner.
  • Work with colleagues in IT and R&D, and partner with Quality, Regulatory, HR, Legal, and Finance to drive the adoption of modern Lean/Agile/DevOps practices.
  • Represent and share the core values and culture of the DH Studio team, agile, PLAD, and XP in all of his/her actions: Teach by showing, rather than telling; Sit with the team in a co-located environment; constantly collaborate with internal and external team members and stakeholders; own the product; maintain a sustainable pace; value individual interactions over processes; respond to change positively and proactively; practice giving and receiving feedback in a healthy manner.
  • Support existing efforts to establish and build credibility for the Digital Health Studio’s internal differentiated development capabilities.
  • Build trust with stakeholders, working through difficult transitions to agile best practices.
  • Collaborate with divisional stakeholders on strategy, optimal product definition and the Agile, Lean, DevOps process and culture.
  • Ensure incorporation of product security, data privacy, quality, UX/UI/Ethnography principles, methodologies and enabling technologies.
  • Directly collaborate with team members to resolve issues and drive agile and lean best practices.
  • Serve as the interface between the team and the division. Represent the Product Owner, Stakeholders and functions in all team discussions.
  • Manage and communicate project status to the rest of BSC IT & BSC R&D.
  • Develop and maintain healthy product teams while maintaining a sustainable pace.
  • Promote a balanced product development team: integrate and enrich engineering, product design, product management, and data science cultures internally.
  • Maintain and continuously upgrade her/his knowledge of Digital Health and consumer wellness technologies, external competitive landscape, regulations, clinical settings, clinical workflows, DH product interconnectivity and system integrations, disease states; capable of learning rapidly to fill any knowledge gaps.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 6–10 years of experience in digital product management within Commercial IT, Sales, or Field Enablement.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud (configuration, process design, or implementation).
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end product lifecycle from roadmap definition to release and adoption.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and vendors, to deliver product outcomes.
  • End-to-end ownership mindset, including deep understanding of business processes, user experience needs, and solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and accountability, ability to learn quickly, connect business and technical perspectives, and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • Deep empathy for field users and ability to translate on-the-ground insights from sales and clinical reps into intuitive, mobile-friendly digital experiences.
  • Partners with enablement and training teams to design adoption strategies, rollout plans, and feedback loops that ensure measurable impact in the field.
  • Strong ability to drive organizational alignment and change management for new digital capabilities.
  • Strong data-driven mindset to use insights and metrics to inform roadmap decisions and measure impact.
  • Use data and user insights to drive prioritization, measure product effectiveness, and inform iterative improvements.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and sprint planning.
  • Direct experience in release management, environment planning, and owning execution plans across multiple stakeholders and systems.
  • Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, coordination, validation, and sign-off for production release.
  • Exposure to multi-platform ecosystems beyond Salesforce (ex: SAP, MDM, Snowflake).
  • Understanding of data and integration architecture across CRM and analytics systems.
  • Proven ability to define and track product success metrics such as adoption, ROI, and productivity impact.
  • Strong executive communication skills; able to articulate digital product vision, progress, and business impact to senior leadership.
  • Acts as a champion for digital-first thinking within Commercial IT, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Highly self-driven, organized, and effective in a matrixed global environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of field sales and clinical representative workflows and pain points.
  • Familiarity with Life sciences or MedTech commercial operations and compliance requirements.
  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business analyst or Product Owner)

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
