Purpose:

Internal influencer within Boston Scientific by ensuring that all relevant internal stakeholders – Divisional Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Strategic Business Support and Market Access, Legal and Finance etc. are aware of and aligned to the HCP strategy and are collaborating together to ensure it is successfully implemented.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Drive adoption and profitable growth of the Advantics solution portfolio in the United States.  This portfolio includes offerings such as the Watchman Development Program and Heart Logic Implementation Program.
  • Drive incremental product revenue through hospital program deals. Develop sustainable processes, tools and deal structures to facilitate this revenue steam and to scale up activity.
  • Develop and manage alliances and partnerships with vendors who can work with Boston Scientific to deliver customized solutions.
  • Play an active role in the U.S.HealthCare Solutions team, helping to shape BSC’s U.S. strategy within this space and ensuring that both the needs and learnings of the US are adequately represented in all forums.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the US delivery team to execute on solutions strategy
  • Align and influence key BSC stakeholders including divisional leadership and sales management teams to target right customers for Advantics engagements
  • Build customer advocacy for our Advantics portfolio and help close engagements for BSC
  • Support Tier 1, cross-divisional account selection process and provide structure, tools and processes to enable cross-divisional deals.  Develop key account management competency at BSC. With the support of commercial capabilities, define required competencies, roadmap, training curriculum, career pathway.
  • Ensure there is a monthly review of top accounts by country led by Corporate Accounts Lead, and a quarterly review of top accounts with the Senior Leadership team. Track growth / Market Share in top accounts vs other accounts and sales in top accounts versus plan.

 

Your responsibilities include:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree/MBA strongly preferred)
  • 8+ years work experience in US medical devices and services 
  • 8+ years of commercial program/project management work experience focused on customer solutions and services
  • Experience of delivering complex projects to the customers in time, to budget and with quality.
  • Experience of ongoing Solutions management to meet customer expectations.
  • Strategic thinking – ability to assess a complex external landscape, to evaluate the internal strengths & weaknesses of an organization and then develop a strategy which considers all of these factors.
  • Demonstrated experience of effectively working within a matrixed organization; previous experience of working with varied internal stakeholders to deliver results  
  • Outstanding relationship building, influencing and communication skills; proven ability to influence Key Opinion Leaders; previous experience of board/C-suite level interaction with customers (CFO/COO/CMO); able to influence internally and cross-divisionally.
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment, and past management experience providing leadership, development and coaching to a high performing team
  • 50 % Travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • Prior experience of working with third party vendors / strategic alliances
