Primary responsibility will be leading the commercial & digital program management function within the WATCHMAN division.  Lead a team focused on delivering commercial and digital programs, drive execution and impact while leading select governance forums for the division – including the digital governance board (DGB) and Divisional management board (MB).  Provides leadership, vision and strategic direction to the commercial & digital community supporting the WATCHMAN Division.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for the program management team that will own commercial product launches, global expansion, digital program development, digital prioritization, and commercialization.
  • Leads key business processes such as AOP and strategic plan for domain of responsibility
  • Directs all functions to meet agreed objectives and plans through cross-functional influence, resource management, issue resolution, upstream and downstream communication.
  • Builds strategic partnerships to further departmental and organizational objectives.  Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, outside regulatory agencies, customers, vendors and/or suppliers.
  • Directs and controls the activities and budget of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups and/or operations.
  • Leads key commercial/digital program reviews
  • Fosters a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.
  • Utilizes technical/professional knowledge and skills to establish, interpret and execute company policies in a major segment of the company.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g. compliance with FDA, BSI, EEO regulations, etc.).
  • Makes and executes operational decisions with a strategic perspective.

 

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, driven and dynamic individual looking to take on an extremely fast-paced and continuously changing critical leadership role in a developing market
  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Project Management or Finance degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in Medical Device industry in some combination of Program Management, R&D, Operations, Sales/Sales Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Digital and Marketing.  Experience in functions beyond traditional Program Management strongly preferred, including Digital development and/or program management
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects and programs
  • Demonstrated success in cross functional & collaborative leadership, motivating teams and functions to achieve above plan performance
  • Demonstrated success in hiring top talent and outstanding people development
  • Strong understanding of and experience with typical project management tools and techniques:  budgeting, objective setting, schedule building, performance tracking, resource planning, aligning team, etc. 
  • Strong business acumen & strategic thought leadership
  • Ability to adapt style to lead at strategic or detailed level depending on the team and topic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to span multiple projects
  • PMA product experience strongly desired
  • Qualifying candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of success and accountability in leadership roles both within and across a matrix organization
