About the role:

We are searching for a Facilities Associate Director to join our team. As a Facilities Associate Director at Boston Scientific, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our employees have the best possible work environment to meet the needs of our business. You will be responsible for managing our new campus location in Maple Grove, MN, supporting divisions such as ICTx, Uro, PI, and Watchman. This on-site role offers the chance to make a significant impact by fostering a workplace that promotes productivity and safety.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manages the design, planning, construction, maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, EHS, amenities and other facilities requirements for a BSC campus.
  • Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications including estimates on construction, equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
  • Establishes 3–5-year building space strategies, layout, and facilities expansions.
  • Cultivates a variety of customer relationships to understand stakeholder requirements to develop strategies that meet organizational goals.
  • Recruits, coaches, and develops organizational talent, leading team(s) / department(s) of senior level professionals and/or subordinate managers (M3 / M2s) focused on execution of operating plans
  • Responsible for including and actively working with financial analyst and regional leadership (incl. Divisions) to manage annual GFMP planning cycle, capital allocations, CERA process and campus operating budgets for allocation
  • Facilitate the establishment of Health and Safety compliance registers, completion of annual regulatory assessments, and creation of improvement plans for any gaps identified
  • Leadership complexity is typically characterized by diversity and complexity of activities, scale of decisions and/or divisional/regional

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in facilities
  • 10+ years of experience leading teams
  • Proven ability to build cross functional relationships utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with budgeting (Strat/AOP & Capital), construction tendering process, RFI/RFP process, and supplier/services contracts
  • Ability to deliver engaging and impactful presentations
  • Physical job requirements: Ability to observe campus both interior and exterior grounds

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Facilities experience in Soft Services, Workplace Strategy, EHS, Maintenance and Capital Project execution
  • High emotional intelligence with proven ability to influence senior leaders to sell concepts and arrive at consensus/compromise

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
