Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
About the role:
Possess the ability to operate the Facility independently with input from Supervisor. Assist the Facilities Manager or Supervisor in the coordination of tasks within the facilities team. Performs maintenance and repairs on facilities and related equipment in plant or office as needed to maintain specifications. Provide a comfortable, safe and clean working environment for employees. Assist with routine daily plant operations, plant shutdown coordination, emergency response, customer service requests, quality assurance compliance, planned preventative maintenance program planning, procurement, vendor management, communications, BAS/CMMS/Work Request system management, and overall job execution of unit responsibilities throughout all facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor controlled environment areas and rooms. Includes performing routine, regular daily checks for temperature, humidity, and static pressure, verifying HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems are working properly and performing routine preventative maintenance on all associated systems such as changing HEPA prefilters and lights.
- Oversee and maintain critical HVAC systems to ensure that indoor environments are comfortable and in compliance with production requirements. Includes making daily rounds of all systems, performing routine maintenance and emergency repairs. Coordinate work with outside service providers as needed.
- Coordinate the installation of all types of equipment. Includes planning and installing all needed services and equipment (plumbing, electrical, ventilation, DI water, high and low pressure vacuum).
- Be able to make programming changes to BAS system to help maintain optimal building operation.
- Inspect, monitor, assess and assure the facility and equipment remains cGMP compliant and in a constant state of audit readiness
- Manage compressed air systems including assistance in performing regular maintenance monitoring usage and upgrading equipment.
- Manage and maintain EDI/RO purified water systems.
- Write and maintain effective processes for all related equipment and procedures.
- Rotate on-call coverage 24 hours per day/365 days a year with other Facilities Technicians as needed.
- Assure work orders and PM’s are performed in an efficient manner and recorded as required
- Perform other duties as needed under the work direction of the Facilities Manager and/or Facilities Supervisor.
- Analyze, propose, and correct longer-term solutions to existing and repeating problems
- Suggest and develop energy saving ideas and facility improvements
- Give support and direction to other facilities technicians.
- Required Special boiler license.
- Participate/Lead in continuous improvement projects.
- Support all environmental, health and safety programs, as well as all other plant activities
- Complete and maintain quality logs and forms.
- Experience with Schneider Eco Struxure BAS platform is preferred.
