About the role:

Digital technologies have dramatically changed the way healthcare providers and patients access medical device and health related information. These digital capabilities also provide new tools for companies to more efficiently and effectively plan, execute and optimize marketing engagements and better serve customers and patients with relevant information and services. The digital revolution has also provided marketers with unprecedented volumes of customer and patient data ready to be harnessed for customer-centric engagement and commercial competitive advantage.
The Salesforce platform is a core technology component of Boston Scientific’s marketing transformation. Harnessing the power of customer data and automation technology, this platform serves as the engine to engage healthcare providers and patients with relevant digital information at specific moments of their product and therapy decision journey. Serving these audiences with ‘the right content, at the right time in the right channel’ in a highly efficient manner will enable Boston Scientific brands to achieve significantly higher marketing campaign impact and ROI. 
The Global Marketing Automation Manager, Marketing Automation CoE is a change champion, responsible for leading the planning, adoption, and best practice usage of Boston Scientific’s new marketing capabilities with the Salesforce platform and adjacent technologies, supporting BSC’s omnichannel vision and Closed Loop Sales & Marketing (CLSM) strategy. Successful candidates will have proven experience aligning Sales and Marketing processes, people, and technology to support transformative businesses strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

•Drive global marketing automation capability roadmap process by bringing together a cross-functional and global group of stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Medical Education, IT and other functions
•Lead consultative engagements with key stakeholders regarding advanced digital campaigns and commercial enablement capabilities 
•Guide business unit and regional change management initiatives in defining process, people, and technology requirements for standing up their Sales-Marketing aligned demand management capability powered by the Salesforce platform
•Gather epic-level capability business requirements and use cases and break them down into actionable user stories that the platform and IT teams can deliver on
•Activate new capabilities with businesses and regions in partnership with the Global Marketing Automation Platform Owner
•Manage training & best practices program to advance BSC digital maturity
•Use insights from campaigns to deliver case examples and presentations, educating cross-functional stakeholder teams on how they can activate CLSM and other technology-focused capabilities that support business objectives 
•Partner with the Platform Owner and IT to design solutions that optimize Sales Cloud functionality, its data connections with Marketing Cloud, and features within Marketing Cloud’s suite of products
•Anticipate and mitigate risk, meet and manage customer expectations, increase customer confidence, manage business solution delivery and any issues that arise, and prioritize and escalate appropriately

Minimum Qualifications:
•8+ years of experience in digital marketing or a related commercial function
•Bachelor’s degree required
•3+ years as a strategist, consultant, or senior analyst for Marketing – Sales process automation 
•Experience building and maintaining a digital demand generation, demand management, or CLSM program using Salesforce 
•Expert-level knowledge in the Salesforce ecosystem for execution of advanced marketing programs (Marketing Cloud & Sales Cloud) 
•Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Sales Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Consultant or similar credentials
•Solid understanding of data management and database concepts; experience with a customer data platform (CDP) a plus
•Leadership experience with a change management program
•Skill in translating business strategies to technical requirements 
•Familiarity with planning and executing digital marketing campaigns that support a customer decision journey
