About the role:

The HAI Sales Training Manager will design, develop, create, implement and evaluate field focused sales training programs for new and existing field personnel to ensure the HAI Consultants and HAI Specialists are effective in all aspects of their roles. The training program will involve ensuring proficiency in the numerous important activities the sales team executes, including case support in the OR and infusion suite, in-servicing new and existing customers on all aspects of administering HAI therapy, the flawless execution of product messaging and brand strategy, and all documentation required for quality processes. The training program will be responsible for, but not limited to, new hire onboarding, field personnel development, content development, and conduct field rides to assess performance and training needs. The HAI Sales Training Manager will report to the VP of Sales, and collaborate with the Area Sales Directors, Marketing, IO&E Sales Training, and Quality to ensure the objectives for field training are met. Expected travel for this role is 75%

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and Implement training programs for HAI Therapy including clinical support, product messaging, and strategic territory development.
  • Complete field visits and customer engagements to assess the training needs for all Field Sales personnel including HAI Consultants and HAI Specialists.
  • Travel to and conduct training programs at various sites in the U.S.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with Key Opinion Leaders and internal cross-functional partners (Marketing, Medical, Quality, etc.).
  • Analyzes performance of sales personnel during field rides, sales meetings, etc., to determine where additional training should be prescribed.
  • Prepare reports on progress of personnel under direct or indirect supervision during training periods.
  • Partners with IO&E Training to continually study and develop skills and resources that could lead to better teaching and training methods.
  • Assist Product Managers in development of new product training and new data releases.
  • Keeps informed of new developments within the field and implements business focused training.
  • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported.  Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.

 

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • In-field case support experience, OR experienced required.
  • Must be comfortable interacting with and influencing all levels of leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize direction from several leaders.
  • Comfortable and effectively facilitate training and discussions.
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Willingness to travel 75%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced level knowledge on HAI Therapy, liver directed therapies, colorectal cancer, and cholangiocarcinoma.
  • A deep understanding of the multi-disciplinary management of metastatic colorectal cancer patients and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
  • Experience selling to or supporting medical oncologists, surgeons, hospital administration, nursing.
  • Account Management experience
  • Experience creating training strategies and materials.  Experience facilitating training courses.
  • Proven experience delivering sales results.

Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
