About the Role:
Boston Scientific is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative support and HR process coordination for the Peripheral Interventions HR team. This role focuses on enhancing HR operations by ensuring accurate data entry, generating reports, supporting employees with HR programs, and handling various administrative tasks. This position offers growth opportunities and the chance to develop a deeper understanding of HR practices and industry standards within a collaborative team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate, organize, and lead tasks in support of HR programs and initiatives related to general HR or employee matters.
- Assist with agenda creation and provide logistical support for team meetings and events.
- Generate data reports for HR and internal teams as needed.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars as required.
- Prepare and organize data for HR initiatives, including the creation of files and documents in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint accessible through SharePoint.
- Perform administrative duties such as meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, and supply maintenance.
- Respond to internal customer inquiries and collaborate with cross-functional teams, serving as a valuable HR resource.
- Support headcount planning activities, including processing headcount submission requests and tracking.
- Address HR-related inquiries to help develop HR knowledge.
- Maintain and update HR SharePoint resources to meet the business’s ongoing needs.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for events, including catering, venue reservations, contracts, entertainment, and calendar management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience managing multiple calendars and appointments.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High attention to detail, with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong motivation and resourcefulness.
- General knowledge of human resources concepts and procedures, with experience handling confidential information.
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordination support role.
- Experience in data and analytical reporting, preferably using Tableau.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
