About the role

Boston Scientific’s WATCHMAN franchise has launched a new digital product aimed at transforming how patients are managed in the hospital setting. The product is generating value for nursing coordinators, implanting physicians, and patients alike, ensuring patients get the therapy they need in order to avoid the risks of long-term blood thinner use.

We are looking for a product leader who will ensure success of the product by working cross-functionally with IT, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Regulatory and other internal stakeholders. This individual should have extensive experience working in the healthcare setting ideally with hospitals. In addition, the individual should have experience in software product management, sales, and/or consulting.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Having a deep understanding of market and customer needs in relation to this solution.
  • Utilizing research, data, and analytics about the market and the product to inform product and commercial strategies.
  • Understanding key business objectives and effectively communicating them with internal stakeholders.
  • Quantifying business objectives and customer needs to inform a high-level product roadmap that delivers value to BSC and customers alike.
  • Identify key roadmap contingencies including business operations and partner requirements.
  • Working closely with a cross functional team to refine features to ensure product market fit and growth through on-going testing and analytics.
  • Bringing together cross-functional team members to refine the business model and continue iterating on the product.
  • Driving alignment with marketing, IT, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Regulatory and other key internal stakeholders to execute effectively and deliver on customer acquisition and retention.
  • Supporting WATCHMAN marketing and other functions with annual planning & budgeting to support the product.

What we're looking for in you:

  • BS/MS degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related subject.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product, sales, consulting, and/or entrepreneurial positions.
  • Ideally experience in commercializing cloud-based software solutions into hospital setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with little direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% timeAbility to travel up to 20% time
