About The Role

This Product Manager will be an integral part of the global marketing activities for the PCI Guidance portfolio including future hardware, software, and our imaging and physiology devices. This person will be a key partner to regional Marketing and R&D teams, collaborate cross-functionally, drive market research, and help translate Voice of Customer into action. 

 

Your Responsibilities Will Include

 

Product Lifecycle & Portfolio Management

  • Conducts “Voice of Customer” (VOC) throughout the technology development and product development processes to ensure user needs are identified and customer requirements are met throughout each project phase including the development and execution of the global VOC calendar.
  • Owns upstream documentation in PLC Projects and guides technical specifications to meet documented user needs
  • Owns the strategic product and technology roadmaps.
  • Identifies and presents compelling presentations, market research findings and recommendations to leadership with supporting business cases and ROI models
  • Supports product development activities across multiple internal and external groups such as R&D, Packaging and Labeling, Quality, Compliance, Regulatory, Human Factors Engineering and Operations

 

Regional Engagement

  • Develop strong relationships with, and be a key point of contact for regional Marketing and R&D partners
  • Own and collect regional requests and clarifications regarding technology and product development projects
  • Support the advisory board initiatives of the regions by offering guidance and creating content for their medical advisory boards

 

KOL Engagement

  • Plan, execute and participate in global physician advisory boards ensuring all HCP engagements are managed in accordance with Boston Scientific’s compliance policies
  • Support pipeline discussions around future portfolio including hands-on demonstrations and presentations to physicians

 

Downstream Support 

  • Develops and implements global strategies and tactics for product launches to ensure products are properly positioned and messaged 
  • Designs global strategies to maximize the profitability of product lines by collaborating with Regions, conducting market research and performing financial analyses.
  • Develops recommendations on appropriate prices for new products and on pricing and positioning strategies in partership with Regional teams. 
  • Actively participates in the launch of new products and assists with product brand messaging, campaigns and execution

 

What We’re Looking For In You

  • 5+ years upstream marketing, product management, strategic marketing or consulting experience required in the field of medical device
  • Bachelor’s degree required (marketing, engineering or healthcare preferred)
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to influence leadership and key stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills and creating compelling, cohesive, and succinct presentations.
  • Highly organized
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
