About the role: 
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Senior Sales Operations Business Analyst to join our growing Commercial Operations and Strategy team in the Peripheral Interventions and Interventional Oncology markets. As a Senior Sales Operations Business Analyst, you will be within the high impact, fast-paced selling organization converting data into meaningful information to guide business decision making.  The role is an integral part of the business team and can work in a either a hybrid or remote work model.  

 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with senior managers to manage Selling expenses
  • Match strategic business objectives with practical technical solutions
  • Create elegant and user-friendly tools and reports for tracking expenses in Selling organization
  • Combine data from multiple sources into integrated views that can be used to drive analysis and decision making
  • Become an expert on data sources, ensuring data accuracy when using them
  • Research and apply techniques for advanced analysis. Propose new ideas for adoption
  • Develop and maintain expense databases, processes, and procedures
  • Assist with key expense planning activities during the quarterly forecasting, strategic plan, and annual operating plan cycles
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other functions/divisions to get tasks done and build cross functional relationship
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, problem solve and move toward timely project completion
  • Develop skills with business intelligence applications such as Tableau, Anaplan, Alteryx, SAP BusinessObjects
  • Participate in special projects as they arise 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Commercial Operations, Accounting, Finance or analytical work experience
  • Strong math skills with the ability to solve complex problems using a logic-based approach 
  • Excellent strategic thinking capabilities with ability to synthesize large amounts of information and logically structure deliverables
  • Advanced Excel user who is comfortable with graphics, pivot tables and building formulas

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with expense management system a plus
  • Proven track record of high performance, innovative approaches to quantitative analysis, and ability to multi-task
  • Curious mindset and takes an active interest in data accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize own work, and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Experience working with Microsoft Access, SQL databases
