About the role:
The Director HR Business Partner – Global Supply Chain (GSC) will provide strategic HR support to the Global Supply Chain Planning team, Global Sourcing team, Global Logistics team and Global Customer Care team.  She/he will partner with senior business leaders to guide, develop and drive organizational effectiveness, support the execution of business strategy via alignment of HR initiatives and processes and provide HR oversight and leadership across the teams. This role will report directly to the VP HR Global Operations and requires close collaboration with HRBPs supporting GSC Manufacturing and Quality to deploy consistent processes across global client groups


Your responsibilities will include: 
⦁    Set strategic direction and participate in the design, development and execution of organizational effectiveness, including organizational design and development. Conduct assessments and provide a clear picture of the current state gaps and a plan develop action plans to support achievement of organization objectives. 
⦁    Support the division’s annual strategic plan and operating plan through the application of organizational development insights, capability assessments and strategic workforce planning.
⦁    Provide HR leadership and guidance to client group(s) in the following areas: capability assessments, competency development, succession planning, talent management, talent acquisition, labor relations, employment law compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement.
⦁    Leverage HR Centers of Excellence to address and satisfy the strategic needs of the business.  Apply knowledge of key business drivers in making long-range strategic decisions related to human capital.
⦁    Coach and consult with management on issues affecting morale, performance, development and organization effectiveness, helping to determine root causes and recommending appropriate next steps.
⦁    Responsible for identifying gaps between current organizational capabilities, required competencies and skills, and the future strategic objectives of the function.
⦁    Support key strategic programs including acquisition integrations and organizational transformations. 
⦁    Introduce, lead and influence change management initiatives within the division to address issues that will enhance overall performance and build the overall human capital capability of the organization. 
⦁    Ensure effective human capital reporting, metrics and analytics tools and processes to advance the business and human capital strategies.
⦁    Build the right culture and work closely with top management to drive and embed company values and behaviors and ensure leaders leverage these to motivate and engage teams.
⦁    Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives. 
⦁    Set strategic direction and guide the Site HR team in the design, development and execution of organizational development initiatives. Build and share functional expertise, industry insights and best practices with the global HR teams to ensure high level HR quality support to the business.

Required Qualifications:
⦁    Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field of study
⦁    15+ years’ experience in a progressive Human Resources organization or relevant business environment
 
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁    HR experience in a Manufacturing environment 
⦁    Comfortable working in a matrixed, global growth-oriented corporate environment.
⦁    Previous experience initiating and leading change initiatives
⦁    Demonstrated ability to deal with highly complex business challenges, both urgent short-term issues and long-term strategic items.
⦁    Experience with developing and implementing custom talent management strategies
⦁    Has worked on creating engagement and retention strategies and plans with successful deployment.
⦁    Strong commitment to defining and delivering diversity and inclusion strategies.
⦁    Ability to drive global consistency in HR practices across a global organization
⦁    Ability to envision, drive and manage complex organizational change and development coupled with relentless follow-through to ensure successful outcomes.
⦁    Strong business acumen coupled with proven, in-depth experience in assessing, identifying, designing and implementing talent management and organization effectiveness initiatives.
⦁    Demonstrated cultural agility and ability to effectively lead across many different cultures.
⦁    Thrives in a team oriented, high demand and high-performance culture.
⦁    Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions when needed.
⦁    Executive presence and polish, with strong, ethics and intellectual honesty.
