About the role:
 
The Quality Technician II will partner with Design Assurance and R&D Engineers and Technicians in the development and verification of Medical Single Use Devices and/or Medical Capital Equipment. This individual will work with high-performance cross-functional development teams to assist in verification of product conformance, design control deliverables, and risk management activities within Peripheral Interventions to ensure delivery of the highest quality product to the customer.  
 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design verification (DV) project and product testing
  • Assist in developing, conducting, qualifying, and documenting equipment/fixtures, visual standards, test methods, and data sheets.
  • Perform testing, gather data, verify and report results of product testing.
  • Assist Engineers with product failure analysis, non-conforming product, or CAPA investigations.
  • Identify and lead departmental initiatives related to best quality practices and continuous improvement
  • Use documentation systems to research information
  • Perform assigned quality initiatives with guidance
  • Update databases and spreadsheets used to track, monitor, and report project activities.

 
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience with high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education/work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrates good documentation practices and ability to maintain deadlines

 
Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate degree in technical discipline (or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years of experience in a laboratory or manufacturing medical device environment
  • Independent organization and prioritization of multiple tasks
  • Able to communicate technical information to engineers and collaborate to identify root cause of issues
  • Must be able to work independently under limited supervision as well as in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills, technical writing
  • Experience in the medical device field in a quality role
