About the role: 
Pure imagination! The Global Compliance Communications and Training Team is reinventing what it means to communicate with stakeholders around the world. We’re dedicated to finding new ways to spread the message of integrity and regulations applicable to the medical device industry (e.g. the anti-kickback statute, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, etc.) in the context of real-life scenarios.  Vlogs, podcasts and animations are just the beginning of new and exciting ways to connect users around the world. Your responsibilities include:

⦁    Implementing and enhancing components of a comprehensive compliance training and communications program for Global Compliance.
⦁    Managing a communications team of 2-3 analysts.
⦁    Lead a global International Community of Practice to provide comprehensive and consistent communications and training worldwide.
⦁    Performs risk assessment and develops communication plans for acquired employees
⦁    Identifying, learning and supporting new communication and training software and platforms
⦁    Creating, supporting, executing and reviewing innovative and engaging training and education solutions, resources and/or tools in support of the Global Compliance training strategy and in response to identified curriculum needs and at management’s direction.
⦁    Scoping, planning, executing and managing projects that support the development or enhancement of Global Compliance training and communications program that may cross multiple regions, business units, and/or functions with minimal supervision, ensuring performance goals and timelines are met.
⦁    Tracking, archiving and analyzing training records, including relating to work in support of legal filings by Boston Scientific to regulatory bodies.
⦁    Conducting/reviewing and analyzing training assignment needs and maintain records that properly reflect training assignment criteria. Monitoring training requirements for continued applicability.
⦁    Conducting ongoing monitoring of potential training and/or communication topic areas by proactively tracking Global Compliance audit & monitoring reports, compliance related news, and industry thought leadership/best practices.
⦁    Preparing an annual plan of communication and training enhancements based on a department risk-assessment
⦁    Supporting Global Compliance communications strategy and plan by writing and / or editing engaging and tailored compliance and ethics messages for distribution across Boston Scientific, and / or by leading or supporting key communications initiatives such as Global Integrity Week, global communication campaigns
⦁    Conducting communications best practice research and be able to effectively convey information learned to other members of the team
⦁    Overseeing the Global Compliance intranet site and other internal intranet pages that provide information, resources or guidance around compliance and ethics
⦁    Managing the tracking, maintaining and archiving communications records, including relating to work in support of legal filings by Boston Scientific to regulatory bodies.
⦁    Establishing and maintaining metrics and reporting to reflect effectiveness of Global Compliance training and communications programs
⦁    Developing and maintaining tools and documentation reflecting operational processes related to communication and training.
⦁    Supporting development of operating procedures for maintaining key processes in support of ongoing and routine communication and training activities, including but not limited to establishing training curriculum and assignment profiles, integration of training into Boston Scientific’s learning system, etc.
⦁    Maintaining a strong understanding of the Boston Scientific’s business areas, regions and/or functions relevant to the compliance program or project initiative and the associated compliance risks.
⦁    Following established policies and procedures to support BSC’s overall business goals.
⦁    Cultivating internal relationships and develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks.
⦁    Providing direction and coaching to junior employees by coaching, identifying training needs, identifying and suggesting progressively challenging assignments, and assisting in career development planning

 
Required Qualifications
⦁    6-8 plus years of experience in compliance field or related communication or training experience.
⦁    Bachelor's Degree
⦁    Impeccable writing proficiency
⦁    Strong project management skills, including ability to scope, plan and oversee execution of cross-functional projects, as well as the ability to organize, execute and manage multiple priorities. 
⦁    Experience presenting to senior management level.
⦁    Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. 
⦁    Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
⦁    Confidence to handle pressures and deadlines and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
⦁    Ability to work with large amounts of data to analyze information while still seeing the “big picture”.

⦁    MBA, Project Management certifications
⦁    Possess a high energy level and strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed expectations.

⦁    Ability to develop collaborative partnerships and communicate the strategic value proposition of Global Compliance.
