Therasphere Sales Trainer
About the role:
The TheraSphere Sales Trainer will design, develop, create, deliver, implement and evaluate field-focused sales training programs for new and existing field personnel to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the sales effort in the Peripheral Intervention Division. The training programs will include but not limited to new hire on-onboarding, sales and marketing cosponsored programs, product launches, market development and field personnel development. Collaborates with Area Directors and Regional Mangers to provide sales training and ensure the objectives for field representatives are met. Works with field and internal personnel to identify and evaluate training opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and Implement training programs for the PI commercial team.
- Assesses training needs for all Field Sales personnel including clinical, sales reps and management
- Travel to and conduct training programs at various sites in the U.S.
- Analyzes performance of sales personnel to determine where additional training should be prescribed.
- Prepares reports on progress of personnel under direct or indirect supervision during training periods.
- Continually studies and develops skill in use of better teaching and training methods.
- Assists Marketing Managers in development of new product training.
- Sets up and maintains training equipment and facilities as appropriate.
- Keeps informed of new developments within the field and implements business focused training.
- Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports BSC’s Quality Policy, Quality System and the appropriate regulations for the area supported. Ensure employees are trained to do their work and their training is documented.
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years of sales and/or marketing experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must be comfortable interacting with and influencing all levels of leadership.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize direction from several leaders.
- Comfortable and effective facilitating training and discussions.
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with liver disease states, therapies, Y90 products and procedures. (BSC PI specific experience/knowledge is preferred)
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Experience creating training strategies and materials required. Experience facilitating training courses.
- Proven experience delivering sales result. Interaction with hospital administration and physicians.
