About This Role:
Strategic leader of Manufacturing Engineering group in support of new products, continuous improvement and manufacturing processes of multiple product lines and technologies.
 
Your Responsibilities Include: 

  • Provides guidance and training to staff, assists subordinates in attaining career goals, motivates individuals to achieve results, and recruits and maintains a high quality staff.
  • Owns Operations functional deliverables and champions technical excellence for process and product  development.
  • Participates in and influences Technology Development Process (TDP) and Product Development Process (PDP) project development activities.
  • Develops and executes departmental budgets.  Leads or represents function in periodic business metric reviews.
  • Determines appropriate staff levels, schedules and resources.  Works with other managers to understand priorities and plans resources and time allocation accordingly.
  • Prioritizes execution of multiple department projects with a key focus on delivering rates of improvement
  • Establishes and influences cross-functional relationships.
  • Initiates cross-functional partnerships to identify and resolve production/engineering issues ensuring root cause is understood and addressed
  • Prioritizes and drives execution of multiple complex department projects.
  • Sponsors and supports Operations Value Improvement Process (VIP) projects. 
  • Develops departmental objectives and metrics and drives execution of them.
  • Champions engineering support of production initiatives quality and new product activities.

What We’re Looking For:


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent Technology field
  • 8-10 years of engineering / related work experience
  • 5 years of people leadership experience
