About the Role
This Product Manager has direct management of our market-leading Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA – i.e., balloons) product family. At over $250M in global revenue, this product family is the largest family of products within the Peripheral Interventions (PI) business. In addition to driving strategies in partnership with global and cross-functional colleagues, this individual is an experienced marketer demonstrating strength in franchise management, product launches and commercialization workstreams.

  • Your Responsibilities Include: 
    • Serve as the global lead for our balloons franchise and devise strategies & tactics to help Boston Scientific maintain and extend its overall market share leadership in this   space Global product management of a >$250M product family.
    • Drive marketing launch execution of our new HP (high pressure) balloon launch .                
    • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to plan, execute, and track launch activity.
    • Assess market trends and advise the organization in future portfolio opportunities.
    • Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in close collaboration with Brand Activation and Digital Marketing .      
    • Work closely with the Divisional Sales and Corporate Sales teams, including overseeing the development of sales training materials .     
    • Utilize classic marketing capabilities to maximize market penetration globally through key competencies such as forecasting, pricing acumen, market understanding, market segmentation and channel identification.  
    • Support the creation and drive the fulfillment of Franchise Strategic Plans, while partnering with global, cross-functional team members.
    • High sales force engagement and exposure to industry tradeshows to gain market insight and provide education/training.
    • Develop and execute promotional plans to meet franchise strategic objectives.
    • Develop strong relationships with US & Global KOLs to help validate commercial Execute with speed and agility.
    • Exhibit professional maturity and help foster an open, challenging, stimulating and positive environment that enables colleagues to be their best strategies .         
  • Required Qualificaitona:
    • BA/BS required; Master’s/MBA preferred
    • 4+ years of experience in medical device marketing desired or commensurate experience.  
    • Position may require ~15-20 travel (some international may be included).
    • Must have strong experience in either Downstream (product management /product launch/commercialization) or Upstream (new product development). 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Experience in the Interventional Cardiology or Peripheral Vascular space is highly preferred but not mandatory.   
    • International experience a plus.
    • Able to analyze and think creatively about competitive markets to uncover strategic growth opportunities.
    • Demonstrated success working as an integral cross functional team member, and ability to develop deep clinical expertise in a medical device product line.
    • Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects.
    • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic environment.
