About the role:

The Senior Marketing Automation Manager in Peripheral Interventions is responsible for helping to drive forward Boston Scientific’s data-driven marketing capabilities. They will have proven experience taking marketing objectives and strategies and delivering the technology solutions to achieve and execute them.
 
As a member of the Peripheral Interventions Digital Acceleration team, the Marketing Automation Manager will work in concert with other Marketing Automation Managers, Digital Marketing Managers, Brand Activation Managers, Digital Producers, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Corporate Marketing Automation and other stakeholders to build innovative marketing automation campaign plans that advance business objectives. The Marketing Automation Manager will own the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Development execution as well as assist with building reports and managing KPIs for the strategic marketing campaigns.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Designs solutions that optimize Sales Cloud functionality, its data connections with Marketing Cloud, and features within Marketing Cloud’s suite of products
  • Participates in engagements with stakeholders including assessment of new functionality requests and informing leadership of strategic resourcing implications
  • Delivers strategic recommendations for most effective Marketing Cloud build using best practices all while considering dependencies, level of effort / scope
  • Utilizes a blend of automation marketing, data administration / management and Salesforce implementation and management experience to provide nuanced and complex recommendations to disparate stakeholders
  • Uses an expert knowledge of current Salesforce applications and product lines, including the knowledge needed to implement multiple applications in common customer scenarios
  • Anticipates and mitigates risk, meets and manages customer expectations, increases customer confidence, manages solution delivery and any issues that arise, and prioritizes and escalates appropriately
  • Uses deep knowledge in connecting data between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud to enable campaigns
  • Partners with Product Owners, Digital Marketing Strategists and Digital Producers to plan, execute, and report on campaigns utilizing Salesforce and other adjacent technologies
  • Creates and presents education and training on new marketing capabilities in Salesforce

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a senior business analyst for marketing implementations as a consultant or internal product owner
  • Expert knowledge utilizing the Salesforce platform (Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud) for advanced marketing campaigns
  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or similar certifications/credentials preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Solid understanding of data management and database concepts
  • Strong organizational and project management skills and the ability to prioritize work while working on multiple projects at once 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well within a matrix organization and to influence teams to accomplish common goals and objectives; effective relationship building skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
