About the role:

The Marketing Communication Specialist II develops and executes communications that are aligned with the global communications and Programs, Marketing and Sales objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborates and makes recommendations on the development and execution of global strategic communications plans that support the SHV franchise; including the use of appropriate channels, messages and communications tactics.  Develops a solid understanding of products and market.
  • Communicates proactively to all stakeholders, managing expectations, timelines and logistics; this includes product marketing, regional marketing and regional marketing communications.
  • Produces communications materials ensuring consistency while following established guidelines, processes and tools.  Provides recommendations where appropriate.
  • Develops strong relationships with key customers, internal and external; serving as a liaison for initiatives.
  • Partners with and manages vendors to ensure that initiatives meet objectives.  Provides guidance and feedback on areas of continuous improvement.
  • Defines tracks and maintains budgets.  Ensures cost-saving measures and spending within allocated amount.  Provides recommendations on franchise budgets where appropriate.
  • Understands and applies finance principles and their implications to the development of franchise budgets.
  • Evaluates program impact and metrics for projects and/or launches.  Provides recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Acquires and maintains knowledge of communications and industry trends and best-in-class practices as related to responsibilities.

  • This candidate must be highly detailed oriented, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have supporting a marketing organization
  • Individual must display strong individual management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to partner globally, build relationships quickly and effectively.
