About the role:
The Marketing Strategy & Analysis Manager is responsible for partnering closely with franchise teams to develop high-impact marketing strategies. This person will become an expert on the Vascular market, identifying market trends and growth opportunities, diagnosing customer needs and behaviors, predicting likely competitive dynamics, and analyzing the economics of the business. As part of these responsibilities, this person will identify strategic opportunities to drive the business and maximize competitive advantage. Additionally, this person will partner with internal stakeholders to execute on project objectives and appropriate research and analysis methodologies. This is an opportunity to impact the future of the business and influence key decisions by providing a strong fact base and recommendations to our leadership teams. This person will have the opportunity to develop high-impact relationships with business partners across the organization, perform creative analytics and research to develop compelling strategic recommendations, and provide direction to multiple initiatives.

 

Work Mode:

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leadership and implementation of structured, practical, fact-based approach to strategy development, valuation, and business plans.
  • Development, execution, and communication of market research, including building data-driven recommendations to support execution of business strategy.
  • Collaboration with marketing and sales to ensure tactics are clearly linked to strategy, and developed with overall strategy in-mind.
  • Strong project management, including communication of timelines and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to proactively remove barriers for project completion. 
  • Strong relationship development/collaboration with line marketing personnel, as well regular impact with other cross functional stakeholders. 
  • Helping to build strong marketing strategy competency and continuous improvement within the franchises.
  • Integrating marketing best practices into work with franchise teams and supporting Marketing Excellence initiatives in the organization.
  • Implementing marketing strategy processes and sharing knowledge about those processes.

 
Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS required; Master’s/MBA preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in consulting, market research, business strategy/analytics or product marketing experience required 
  • Primary market research experience which includes strong analytical and quantitative skills, and ability to generate data-driven recommendations. 
  • Healthcare or medical device marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to develop deep clinical and commercial expertise in medical device therapies and products

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects, incorporating diverse needs from numerous stakeholders and delivering on commitments
  • Track record of success leading cross functional teams within a dynamic, matrixed and hybrid work environment
  • Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams to achieve consensus and execution of strategic initiatives

Maximum Salary: $172500 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
