About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tradeshow Specialist to support the planning and execution of tradeshows that align with Boston Scientific objectives. This role will collaborate closely with expert-level tradeshow planners to ensure seamless event operations while gaining hands-on experience in tradeshow logistics, compliance considerations, and event coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in event planning, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the coordination and execution of tradeshows that align with company goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with expert-level team members in managing logistics, including booth planning, shipping coordination, and vendor communications.
  • Help maintain event timelines, staffing schedules, and checklists to ensure smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support event planning needs and ensure brand consistency.
  • Assist in managing vendor relationships, tracking service deliverables, and providing feedback to enhance event effectiveness.
  • Support the budget tracking process by maintaining expense records and identifying cost efficiencies.
  • Help track and compile post-event metrics, gathering insights to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in tradeshow planning to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
  • Provide administrative support, including event documentation, scheduling, and coordinating post-event follow-ups.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Event Planning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferably in event coordination, marketing, or tradeshow planning, preferably in a corporate or healthcare setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost management in an event planning context.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with event management software is a plus.
  • Experience working in the healthcare, medical device, or life sciences industry.
  • Exposure to vendor management and event logistics coordination.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Domestic travel up to 10-30%.

Maximum Salary: $121400 

 

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com—will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

 

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

 

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
