About the role:
The Physician Engagement Manager will oversee the strategic planning and execution of advisory boards within the Peripheral Interventions Vascular franchise. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including senior leadership, to define and align key goals and objectives for each advisory board. The ideal candidate will possess strong influencing skills, effectively engaging with leaders at all levels to drive progress. A high attention to detail and a commitment to delivering best-in-class experiences for both physician advisors and internal teams are essential for success in this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary representative and leads the comprehensive advisory board strategy to ensure the right physicians are engaged, addressing key business objectives.
- Develops an understanding of the Vascular business and its key strategic priorities, helping shape content outlines for each advisory board accordingly.
- Cultivates strong relationships with senior leadership, sales, medical affairs, product managers and marketing operations.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to establish physician rosters for each advisory board and assists with the registration process.
- Partners with marketing operations on the annual marketing needs assessment and renewal process for advisory boards, including roster management and compliance documentation.
- Coordinates and disseminates all communications related to the various stages of the advisory board planning process.
- Designs and administers pre- and post-surveys to capture feedback and insights from both external and internal stakeholders.
- Schedules and leads kickoff meetings, content reviews, pre-conference meetings, and post-event debriefs with diverse stakeholders, ensuring productive discussions and effective decision-making.
- Develops content and structures the opening and closing sessions for each advisory board.
- Ensures the advisory board playbook is consistently updated year-over-year to capture and implement best practices.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of related experience in product marketing or similar background in the medical device industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Pays close attention to detail and has the drive to see projects through to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity and technical savvy with SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- Domestic travel up to 5-10%
