About the role:
The Principal Compensation Analyst will work on the Interventional Solutions Sales Compensation team and be responsible for providing expert analysis and strategic recommendations on the design, implementation, and management of sales compensation plans and programs that drive business performance and overall sales strategy. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with high performing teams across sales strategy, finance, HR, and field training, as well as interact directly with our field sales team. This role requires a high level of business acumen, customer solution focus, multi-tasking skills, comprehensive organizational skills, and analytical ability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead in the management, analytics, and production of commissions paid to our US Interventional Solutions field sales team.
- Own the design, implementation, and distribution of sales quota on a semi-annual basis.
- Effectively collaborate with other sales operations functions and cross functional partners to design, develop and implement effective compensation strategies.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations on compensation plans, sales incentives programs, and retention strategies.
- Lead in the tracking, calculating, and forecasting of sales team commissions on a quarterly basis.
- Build and maintain advanced analytics processes and tools that assess key performance metrics. Ensure that data-driven recommendations are integrated into business strategies.
- Lead compensation-related projects to identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions while applying appropriate methodology, measurements, tools, and quantitative techniques
- Ensure accuracy of applied commission rates within the Anaplan Compensation Model.
What we’re looking for in you:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Strategy or Operations, Finance, or Consulting.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly motivated, high impact individual with strong technical, analytical and leadership competencies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, using an analytical and consultative “partner-focused” approach
- Strong business acumen and experience interacting with various level of management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications and Competencies
- MBA degree
- Experience in Sales Operations or Sales Compensation
- Anaplan software experience
- Experience in medical device industry
