About the role:
The Electrophysiology (EP) Division within Rhythm Solutions at Boston Scientific is dedicated to supporting and treating patients with atrial fibrillation—the most common heart arrhythmia. As a Field Training Lead, you will play a key role in cultivating a best-in-market EP Field Force through comprehensive training and continuous development. You will provide consistent and effective sales training for new hires, guiding them through the mapping certification pathway using innovative and scalable learning strategies.
This role supports both existing and breakthrough technologies, including the OPAL HDx Mapping System and the recently launched FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System—now a market-leading technology. Boston Scientific is proud of its best-in-class cardiology sales force, and this position is integral in ensuring new hires are equipped with the skills and knowledge to uphold and elevate that standard.
This position requires a minimum of 75% travel.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and training new hires through the entire mapping certification training pathway
-
Designing and executing EP Field Training Programs for all EP technologies
-
Maintaining ongoing communication with field personnel and the Sales Training team

Continuously refining the certification process for each technology

Collaborating daily with various business units across the Cardiology division

Supporting local Clinical Observation Training (COT) programs and training sites

Delivering and supporting in-house EP training classroom programs
Qualifications:
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum of 3 years' mapping experience or 5 years' EP and/or lab experience with technical/clinical proficiency

Experience teaching, coaching, or educating peers or technical support personnel
-
High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with peers and colleagues

Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify gaps or opportunities in new hire training

Ability to tailor training content to different audiences

Comfort working with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including external vendors or consultants

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Preferred qualifications:

Experience with Boston Scientific EP products, specifically the OPAL HDx system

Extensive transseptal, atrial fibrillation, and/or imaging experience

Prior education or training experience in healthcare or medical devices

Self-starter with ability to manage projects from concept to execution

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
