About this role:
The Maple Grove Operations Finance Team is looking for a highly motivated Principal Financial Analyst to join our team. This individual will analyze business results and provide analytic support that assists the organization in making strategic business investment decisions.  The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship building and communication skills
 
Your responsibilities will include: 
⦁    Assist in all financial planning activities for the Maple Grove Manufacturing Facility, including annual operating plan, quarterly forecasting, weekly forecast trending and 3- year strategic plan.
⦁    Analyze and challenge product std cost, support costing of new products, and provide analytics related to project support charges.
⦁    Perform ad hoc analysis including overhead, yield,  product cost, and make vs buy models and new product impact.
⦁    Represent Finance on key initiatives.
⦁    Develop tools for reporting, planning, and forecasting of project, and other areas.
⦁   Deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners.
⦁    Perform all responsibilities consistent with our internal control environment and ensures compliance with GAAP and BSC Financial policies and procedures.
⦁    Drive continuous improvement of processes and analytics.  Document and maintain work instructions.
 
Required qualifications:
⦁    Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
⦁    Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience

 

Preferred qualifications:
⦁    Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
⦁    Very strong analytical skills
⦁    Strong oral and written communication skills
⦁    Must be a quick learner and able to engage well with internal and external customers
⦁    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required, Financial tools (SAP, Adaptive, Tableau) preferred
⦁    An interest in development of technical finance tools/systems
