About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and creative individual to join our high-performing Process Development team. You will have the opportunity to drive innovative technology solutions from concept to commercialization. You will be partnering cross-functionally with a technically strong, experienced, and highly engaged team.
Work Mode
At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

Your Responsibilities Include:
⦁ Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on complex projects.
⦁ Executes the functional deliverables associated with the PDP/TDP, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
⦁ Understand chemical processes, performing process characterization and influencing the design for manufacturability (DFM) by working with R&D and Manufacturing partners
⦁ Serves as a key resource or expert with chemical and/or coating technologies, participating in setting technical direction for the function and/or organization.
⦁ Reviews and assesses processes for potential patent opportunities.
⦁ Serves as a key contributor and participant in technical reviews.
⦁ Evaluates external technologies and strategically identifies opportunities to implement them internally.
⦁ Provides on-going mentoring and technical guidance to managers, other engineers, technicians, and functional groups.
⦁ May supervise other technicians and engineers.
⦁ Typically serves as a core team member or technical expert (subject matter expert) on coating.
⦁ May serve as a representative or liaison to other BSC sites or external organizations, boards or committees.
Required Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant technical field
⦁ Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering
⦁ 10+ years of relevant experience
⦁ Experience with Chemical Processing
⦁ Demonstrated understanding of problem solving and root cause investigations.
⦁ Experience with Process Verification and Validation.
⦁ Medical device or other regulated industry experience.
⦁ Expertise in Operations or New Product Development.
⦁ Open to travel of up to 10% of their time.
