About the Role

The WATCHMAN Marketing Strategy and Analysis Manager  will be expected to perform creative analytics, lead market research efforts, and quantify growth opportunities within the Franchise. She/he will lead project management of cross functional teams and also ensure deliverables and final recommendations are completed in a timely fashion. He/she will work with a broader group of functions including Marketing, Sales, Sales Ops, R&D, Finance, and Global partners. She/he will drive analysis to understand WATCHMAN and LAAC market and the barriers and risks to therapy growth

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Business analytics to structure, inform, and drive critical business decisions that accelerate the growth of the WATCHMAN Franchise and spur adoption of LAAC Therapy
  • Strategic planning, decision making, and market intelligence to facilitate the evolving franchise strategy
  • Coordinate Market Research designed to inform growth strategies and guide investment decisions
  • Analysis of competitive business activities to enable the Franchise to develop better informed strategies. 
  • Drive, direct and assess new business development opportunities
  • Perform analysis of risks and barriers to future WATCHMAN growth and recommend actions to overcome those barriers
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities within EP, IC, and SH to grow WATCHMAN and the overall Boston Scientific business

 

In conjunction with Boston Scientific partners, he/she will conduct market and offering opportunity assessments, strategy formulations and valuations for:

  • Core growth opportunities, including new product or service concepts, and procedural improvement strategies.
  • Adjacencies: New products / services developed in-house;
  • Acquisitions, alliances, and joint ventures;

 

What we’re looking for in you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Consulting, or related field required
  • 5+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, and/or sales operations (Or Master's degree with 2+ years of work experience in marketing, strategy, business, and/or sales operations
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally required
  • Medical Device / Healthcare experience preferred
  • Must have ability to drive communications strategies and influence stakeholders
  • Must have strong communication & execution skills
  • Strong financial analytical and quantitative skills.  Experience defining and utilizing a broad range of secondary research, primary qualitative and primary quantitative research techniques to derive market and customer insights
  • Excellent project management: planning and organizing project assignments of substantial variety and complexity; defining and managing overall schedule for project and milestones (both owned & assigned to others); often serving as project lead coordinating activities of a cross-functional team
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint, Excel skills
  • Travel: 10-20%
