Purpose Statement

The Principal Sales Enablement Strategist is responsible for working collaboratively with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and other functions to design and deliver enablement programs that enhance the productivity, effectiveness, and success of the sales team. The ability to use data and insights is key to assessing and identifying areas of improvement. This person will also be streamlining, developing, and implementing strategies, tools, and resources that empower the sales professionals to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional partners to uncover business needs, design and implement solutions, and measure impact.
  • Assess the enablement needs of our sales and clinical teams, identifying opportunities to enhance their effectiveness and productivity.
  • Develop and execute enablement programs focused on equipping our teams with the skills, tools, and resources necessary to succeed in their roles.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales Ops, Training, and Senior Leadership, to ensure alignment of enablement initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Curate and maintain a repository of enablement materials, including playbooks, guides, and training resources, to support ongoing learning and development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, providing coaching, mentorship, and support to enable our teams to reach their full potential.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of enablement programs, gathering feedback from stakeholders and leveraging data insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in enablement and incorporate them into our strategies as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and manage the full enablement lifecycle including business plan, development/deployment, and measurement of program KPIs
  • Support the development of content, programs, and workshops such as sales processes, selling tools, marketing skills, training, and other ongoing programs
  • Conduct regular needs analysis with internal and field partners to outline requirements and translate them into tangible deliverables and enablement programs
  • Lead the design and delivery of onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring they are equipped to hit the ground running and contribute to our success.

 

Experience Requirements

 

  •  Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  •  Proven experience in sales enablement, preferably in a technology or healthcare environment.
  •  Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable enablement initiatives.
  •  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  •  Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the impact of enablement programs and drive data-driven decision-making.
  •  Passion for enablement and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning and development within the organization.
